Boom, mast step, mast and standing rigging at deck level, visible and accessible portions of chain plates, blocks, deck hardware, sailing winches, running rigging (deck level). Sails on board. Decks and hull above and below water line. Windlass & anchoring gear, Dodger, Bimini and awnings. Shore power systems, Batteries and DC systems and controls, Navigation instruments and running lights. Bilge pumps and accessible portions of fresh water plumbing, tanks and waste systems. Interior fits and finishes, galley and cooking equipment. Steering systems. Engine & propulsion gear.
Past Assignments Have Included Electrical Fires, Sinking's, Collisions, Rigging Failures, and Lightning
Damage. Additionally, conducted a detailed review of major Repair Estimates and Invoices Identifying Duplicate or Unnecessary Charges.
Inspecting hazards to patrons, construction issues, locating sources of current in electrical ground system, suitability for use and vessel size, and impact or storm damage.
