Pre-Purchase Surveys

Our pre-purchase surveys are detailed, comprehensive inspections of hull, decks, controls, nav gear, safety gear, fuel, plumbing and electrical systems, steering, anchoring, rigging, sails, propulsion and other equipment and systems.


 The report includes an estimated fair market value and list of recommended repairs and maintenance, helping you make

a more informed decision before moving forward with your purchase.

Insurance

Surveys

Our Insurance surveys include detailed, comprehensive inspections of hull, decks, controls, nav gear, safety gear, fuel, plumbing and electrical systems, steering, anchoring, rigging, sails and propulsion and other equipment and systems. 


The report includes and estimated fair market value and list of recommended repairs and maintenance which both the owner and the insurance company expect to see. There really can be no distinction between a pre-purchase and an Insurance Survey.


Condition & Valuation Surveys

C&V surveys are detailed, comprehensive inspections of hull, decks, controls, nav gear, safety gear, fuel, plumbing and electrical systems, steering, anchoring, rigging, sails and propulsion. The report includes and estimated fair market value and list of recommended repairs and maintenance. 


This comprehensive effort is necessary to estimating Condition and Value, there really is no distinction between a Pre-purchase and a C&V survey. Both require a detailed eye and considerable effort.

Damage

Surveys

In the unfortunate event of an accident or incident, Mitch Witt Marine Survey is here to assess the damage, determine causation, and provide the documentation required for insurance claims.

Experience includes Fire, Sinkings, Lightning Damage, Collisions and Damage from high winds at sea.


Past assignments have included damage inspections along the Gulf Coast, Florida East Coast, Puerto Rico and the Eastern Caribbean.
